The number of accesses for January is out! Let’s see which websites recorded the most visits and which websites showed the greatest percentage of increase or decrease in visits to that site.
Looking at the 10 most visited websites in January, Alphabet (Google) is once again the leader in website traffic, holding the top two domains, Google.com and Youtube.com. Microsoft (MSFTMore) added another domain to the top 10. In 10th place is microsoftonline.com and Ebay (Ebay) dropped two spots to 11th place.
When it comes to the list of the 100 most visited websites, Primevideo.com (AMZN) recorded 131% more visitors than on December 21st, the largest and most notable growth. Inuit.com (Intu) and HBOMax.com (T.) also saw strong growth of 40% and 37%, respectively. The website with the largest drop in traffic is Kohls.com (KSS) and Macys.com (M.), losing 59% and 50% respectively.

Which websites saw the biggest increase in website visits in January? Early 2022 saw a surge in interest in the SaaS and streaming services industry. In fact, among the top 100 domains, the biggest “winners” came primarily from these two industries, as shown in the chart below.

We also looked at which websites showed the biggest change in ranking in terms of website traffic volume. The biggest change is the UK online gambling website intercasino.com (GB: GYS), which moved up 107 places. Other notable websites that rose in ranking are:
