The BIA, celebrating its 75th anniversary, witnessed the handover of offices from last year’s President Neville Samvi to Ashish Gandhi at a ceremony. At the start of the programme, Mr Rajesh Kshirsagar was publicly congratulated on being appointed Vice President of ‘Mitra’ organization in Maharashtra on behalf of the Bombay Industry Association. On this occasion, Mr Rajesh Kshirsagar commended the incumbent Chairman of the Bombay Industry Association Mr Nevil Sanghvi for his outstanding work during his tenure and wished Mr Ashish Gandhi all the best for his future endeavours. . In his speech, Ashish Gandhi announced the launch of BIA-Next, a platform for the next generation of young entrepreneurs to network, learn and grow. As part of the BIA Academia program, an MOU has been signed between NM College (Bail Pearl) and Chetana College (Bandra) to offer students internships and eventual placements.
Mr. Gandhi has been a member of the Society for over ten years. Having worked in the packaging industry for over 20 years and held various leadership positions within the association, he brings extensive industry experience and leadership skills to this position.
