After his contract with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) expires, coach Park Han-seo plans to hold a meeting with fans and thank them before bidding farewell to Vietnam and returning to South Korea.
Park’s agency (DJ Management & Inspired Asian Management) announced on its website that the event will be held at Hanoi Grand Plaza Hotel’s Athena Room 2 on February 2 from 6pm to 8:30pm. bottom.
“During his five years of dedication to Vietnam football, Coach Park received constant love and support from his fans. I thanked you.”
The 30 luckiest fans will receive mementos including Park badges, Park signed balls and many other attractive gifts.
Park’s contract with VFF expired on January 31st, after a successful five-year run with many impressive achievements.
South Korean coaches have achieved legendary status in the country after leading a generation of excellence at both regional and continental levels.
Upon joining the Vietnam national team in 2017, Park made waves when he finished second at the AFC U23 Championship in China after dominating a host of opponents.
A year later, Park’s team won the AFF Cup 2018. Vietnam then advanced to the quarter-finals of the AFC Asian Cup 2019 held in the United Arab Emirates, ultimately losing 1-0 to Japan.
Park’s team also made their first appearance in the 3rd round of Asian qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Although ultimately unsuccessful, he put in some notable performances, including a 3-1 victory over China and a 1-1 draw against Japan.
