We’ve updated our Google Discover Feed Guidelines to highlight the most important elements to include in your feed for proper optimization.
Google Discover Feed
Google Discover’s Follow Feed feature provides Chrome Android users with relevant content and represents important traffic sources that match their interests.
The Google Discover Follow feature is a component of Google Discover and a way to capture steady streams of traffic separate from Google News and Google Search.
Google’s Discover Follow feature works by allowing users to choose to receive updates about the latest content on sites of interest to them.
To participate in Discover Follow, use an optimized RSS or Atom feed.

According to google:
“The Follow feature allows you to follow websites and[フォロー中]tab to get the latest updates from that website.
The Follow button is currently available in English for signed-in users in the US, New Zealand, South Africa, UK, Canada, and Australia using Chrome Android. ”
Receipt of traffic from the Discover Follow feature will only occur on sites with feeds that have been properly optimized according to the guidelines of the Discover Follow feature.
