But mostly, this is a heartfelt story about a mother-daughter relationship navigating a war-torn dystopian Earth.
Jung_E’s ending, explained
In the year 2135, climate change and resource depletion have forced humanity to survive in colony shelters built in space. Combined as the Adrian Republic, his three shelters have fought the Allied Forces of Earth for 40 years.
Legendary Allied Mercenary Captain Yoon Jeong Yi joins you on a mission to attack fuel rods at Adrian’s Refuge. She has a chance to make the decisive shot, but she’s distracted by a child’s keychain, her hand shot, revealing she’s really a robot too.
Yun shuts down and it is revealed that she is in a simulation.35 years ago, the real Yun failed a mission and fell into a coma. Lab’s research team created a conscious clone of her that could be repeatedly uploaded to an android.
For five years, they’ve been studying Captain Yoon’s brain maps, trying to recreate her final mission, and using that data to try and create the best AI combat robots. Once the android can escape from the simulation, the “Jung_E” program is complete. Kronoid will then produce elite and loyal combat robots to help the Allies emerge victorious. We will also make Captain Yoon an “eternal hero”.
In a flashback, it is revealed that Captain Yoon became a mercenary to pay for his daughter Seohyun’s lung cancer treatment. As an adult, Seohyun still feels guilty that her mother couldn’t live her life because of her.
After an ethics test to ensure she was not an android, doctors revealed that Seohyun’s cancer had spread to the rest of her organs. She was given 3 months to live. She was able to copy her own consciousness into an artificial body for free, just like her mother, but this also used her brain data to sell to companies to create clones. It means you can.
Visiting the Institute, Chairman Chronoid informs Seohyun that the Adrian War is coming to an end and production of weapons, including combat AI, will cease. In her interview with Seohyun, Jung_E revealed that the keychain that was distracting her was given to her by her daughter for her strength and protection. Her daughter told her not to lose it, so she had to find it. Realizing that this is what caused her mission to fail, Seohyun removes all memories of herself from Jung_E’s brain.
Before the simulation ends, Seo-hyun tells the last Jung_E android the truth about who she is and removes other original data to create Kronoid products, including Captain Yun sex dolls. You can no longer use it.
In the final simulation, Jon_E appears shot dead, but escapes thanks to Seohyun’s guidance when her body is destroyed. take off. Seohyun is shot in a fight with director Kim, the android of the young chairman of Chronoid. After Kim was killed, Seohyun told Jung_E to leave her behind and live for himself alone. Jung_E escapes, frees himself from the lab simulation, and overlooks a vast, open mountain landscape.
