The Nigerian duo of Paul Onuachu and Ira Sol took part in the parade and Genk overcame their fears on Wednesday with a 2-3 victory in Westerloo.
Thor, a hero in the final game against Zulte Waregem, is back on the bench, with coach Wouter Franken starting alongside Mike Trezor and John Paintsil.
Paul Onuatu was also back in the starting line-up after resting against Zulte Waregem.
Onuachu was unable to add 14 goals, but it was a great game for his side.
With the game tied at 2-2, the coach also introduced Yira Sor and the forwards played 25 minutes.
Aziz Ouattara Mohammed put Genk ahead in the 7th minute after a pass from Paintsil.
Paintsil then extended their lead with another goal in 24 minutes of play.
In a dramatic second half, Westerloo scored twice in the opening minutes to level the game.
Maxim de Kuiper halved the deficit in the 53rd minute before Thomas van den Kievas won 2-2 two minutes later.
Genk bounced back from the shake and scored three points in the 64th minute with a superb goal from Daniel Muñoz.
