The long-awaited drama “Celebrity” Park Gyu-young’s first still is finally released!
Celebrity is a new Netflix series that explores the glamorous and competitive lives of celebrities as Seo Ali meets Seo Ali as he dives into a world where fame brings wealth and the whirlwind of events. Park Gyu-young, CNBLUE’s Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Chung-ah, Lee Dong-gun, and Jung Hyo-sung will appear.
Park Gyu-young plays Seo A-ri, who became an overnight celebrity with bold and unconventional moves that set her apart from other influencers. Kang Min Hyuk will play the role of Han Jun Kyung, the representative of Korea’s leading cosmetics brand Han Cosmetics. Uninterested in anything but work, he finds Seo Ali’s unpredictable personality fascinating.
Lee Chung-ah will play the role of Yoon Si-hyun, the daughter of a 5th National Assembly member, the chairman of the Haeum Foundation, and the daughter-in-law of the law firm Dae-kang. Everyone envy her, but her life is shaken up when she meets So Ali. Lee Dong-gun will play Jin Tae-jung, her husband and Dae-kang’s lawyer. Jin Tae-jung goes to great lengths to achieve her goal, but Seo A-ri’s unpredictable movements start to make her nervous.
Lastly, Jung Hyo Sung will play the role of Oh Min Hye, Seo Ah Ri’s school friend and influencer who leads Seo Ah Ri to the celebrity world.
‘Celebrity’ will be directed by Kim Cheol-gyu, who directed ‘Flower of Evil’, ‘Confession’ and ‘Mother’. The drama is set to premiere through Netflix in the second quarter of this year.
