Google Business Profile (GBP) attributes are a unified way to share what your business offers and what your customers can expect when using your business.
It is also a way for businesses to optimize their presence in local search. The more detailed the list with attributes, the more likely it is to rank in specific targeted searches using attribute modifiers. for example, [accessible restaurants near me] Also [miami hotels with free wifi].
This blog post discusses the different types of GBP attributes available to businesses according to their key business categories and how local marketers can make the most of these attributes.
Google Business Profile attribute types
GBP listings have two attributes: factual or subjective.
attribute of fact Maintained by the business, but subjective attributes are provided by Google through the opinions of users who visit the business. Businesses cannot update or control these subjective attributes.
subjective attributes Users may ask if the business is popular, good for groups, casual, cozy, or suitable for children.
This guide will focus primarily on factual attributes. This is because business is something that can be renewed on his GBP platform.
These attributes allow your local listings to proactively answer common search questions. Customers often compare options and make decisions, but don’t click to call your company or visit your website.
If you want to be chosen as a venue or service provider, make sure you provide searchers with all the information they need to help them choose your location.
Updating attributes in GBP
All GBP lists have the ability to update multiple attributes, and the attributes available for each list are determined by the list’s primary category. Not all categories offer the same attributes.
Attributes may also vary depending on the country in which the list exists. Choose the primary category that best fits your brand so you can use the right attributes for your listings.
To update your attributes, start by logging into your GBP account to see the attributes available in the list. Click the Info tab on the left panel.
Click From Business – Add Attributes in the Information section.
You will be able to see the available categories and specific attributes in that list.
The most common category types in GBP are Business, Amenities, Health and Safety, Highlights, Payments and Accessibility from Service Options.
Google also provides detailed instructions on how to update, add, or edit GBP attributes. You can also search for specific amenities by clicking on the By Business section.
accessibility
Accessibility attributes allow businesses to share with their customers how they are set up to allow them, who may have specific needs.
Available attributes are wheelchair accessible entrance, wheelchair accessible restroom, wheelchair accessible seat, wheelchair accessible parking lot, and wheelchair accessible elevator.
See the GBP Accessibility page for specific definitions of these particular accessibility attributes.

health and safety
Added health and safety attributes due to COVID-19. This allows businesses to share a mask and temperature check policy for both staff and guests.
It also states whether the business requires appointments and whether surfaces are sanitized between visits.
These attributes are particularly important as consumers in different regions will be vaccinated and will be more comfortable shopping in stores.
payment
Payment attributes are cash only, checks, credit cards (American Express, China Union Pay, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, and VISA), debit cards, and NFC mobile payments.
No, Bitcoin is not (yet) an option.
Hotel
Hotel attributes are set quite differently for GBP and other categories.[ホテルの属性]will take you to a new page where you can add all sorts of information that your users might consider when searching for their next hotel stay.
Hotel attributes are categorized by property details and room details. The advanced categories of properties are:

- Policy and Payment.
- activity.
- service.

amenities Allow restaurants to share if they have an on-site bar, are suitable for children, have high chairs, WiFi and gender-neutral restrooms.
dining Options allow businesses to highlight offerings such as breakfast, catering, desserts, lunch, dinner, and whether there is seating.
offering Let customers know if your business serves alcohol or certain foods. The final category of service options focuses on how food can be obtained through options such as curbside, delivery, eat-in, drive-thru, takeout and outdoor seating.
There is also a GBP API that can be used to update attributes in bulk. If you have many locations and your data changes frequently, it might make sense to leverage an API, especially if you have a verified and authoritative source of information.
Maintaining proper attribution is essential for brands. Local searches target specific queries, such as restaurants that accept checks or wheelchair-accessible hotels with pools and restaurants, so leveraging all applicable attributes can set your brand apart from your competitors. You can let
Leaving certain attributes unmarked can result in missing relevant searches and resulting conversions.
